Compensation is not a fixed salary but project-based including a monthly expense allowance. This opportunity is available only to individuals residing in Limpopo, Mpumalanga, and Northern Cape.

Being a PUM Representative

The role of representative is both dynamic and rewarding. You’re not just a representative, you’re an ambassador. You’ll receive an expense allowance of €100,- per month and performance-based reward of €400,- per successful project & expense reimbursement.

Representative South Africa

 As representative South Africa, particularly in Limpopo, Mpumalanga and/or Northern Cape, you are a vital member of the country team of South Africa, consisting of two country managers of South Africa (Cape Town and Johannesburg) and a project officer, all based in The Netherlands. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, nurturing relationships and facilitating impactful collaborations. Your role extends to client acquisition and network expansion, crucial for meeting the targets set for your country. What being a representative will look like? You will be actively on the lookout for new clients, screening them, and supporting and assisting them. As our representative, you’re not just ensuring smooth project implementation, you’re:  

• Partnering with entrepreneurs, propelling their journey toward sustainable and inclusive business development. 

• Leaving a lasting impact on the community: socially, environmentally, and economically. 

• Driving towards and achieving targets set for South Africa with a minimum of 10 projects per year. 

• Cooperating with our other PUM Representatives in South Africa. 

 
Who are you? 

• You are an authentic, resilient, humble and dynamic professional with a strong intercultural sensitivity. 

• You are connected to a large network of SMEs, especially in Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Northern Cape. 

• Preferably, you have an established network within tourism/ hospitality, health care and/ or agricultural sectors. 

• You have experience in public and private sector program management. 

• You have at least 15 years of proven experience in sales, project management, and building and maintaining customer relationships (incl. acquisition and sales skills). 

• You have experience in public and private sector program management. 

• You have in-depth knowledge of the social economic circumstances, language and culture of South Africa. 

• You have excellent command of the English language.

• You are available for multiple days of the week (roughly 16 hours).

• You are comfortable with digital tools, including Microsoft 365.
