Who are you?
- You are an authentic, resilient, humble and dynamic professional with a track record of relevant experience in livestock veterinary care.
- You understand the differences in culture and operate on the basis of equality.
- You are eager to operate as a coach and sparring partner in various cultures and changing circumstances.
- You can translate knowledge into a practical plan.
- You have excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing. Bonus points for French or Spanish proficiency!
- You are comfortable with digital tools, including Microsoft Office 365.
Being a PUM expert
As a volunteer at PUM, you play a key role in sharing your expertise and experience. You’re not just an expert; you’re a game-changer. By sharing your knowledge, you’re powering the sustainable growth of SMEs in countries worldwide.
What being an expert will look like? You will handle one or two projects remotely each year, for example via Microsoft Teams. You’ll also spend two weeks on-site with the client. PUM covers your flight and visa, and the client takes care of your stay and local transportation. You will also receive an expense allowance. As our expert, you’re not just sharing knowledge, you’re:
- Empowering entrepreneurs, co-piloting their journey toward sustainable and inclusive business development.
- Leaving a lasting impact on the community: socially, environmentally, and economically.
- Turning your knowledge into a hands-on project plan.
- Expanding your horizons at sector days and building a network that’s as diverse as it gets.
Ins and outs of the expert role
The expert role is a volunteer position, open to applicants up to 68 years. We’re looking for applicants in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, or Germany, with primary health care insurance. Prescreening (VOG) is part of the selection process. At PUM, we celebrate diversity and inclusion as essential pillars of our organization.
